During your stay we suggest that you should visit:
- Knossos Palace and the Archaeological Museum in Heraklio (35km from Stalis).
- Malia Palace (next village - 4 km).
- Mohos village (9km away) ~ a traditional Cretan village which is reached via a stunningly beautiful drive with magnificent views along the coastline, up and over the mountain directly behind Stalis. Take your camera/camcorder!!
- Lassithi Plateau (25km up in the mountains) where you can visit the cave where Zeus was born.
- Samaria Gorge (in the region of Chania).
- The historic and cosmopolitan towns of the island, each having their own unique atmosphere:(Aghios Nikolaos, Chania and Rethymno).
